England training session signals end of Royal Wedding partyEngland training session signals end of Royal Wedding party
Martin Johnson put his England squad through their paces at training in Bagshot, showing "no mercy" for those with Royal wedding hangovers, reports The Telegraph.
It would appear that Zara Philips and Mike Tindall enjoyed a riotous wedding reception at the weekend, if social media comments are anything to go by.
Posts by England team mates Andy Goode, Dylan Hartley and Olly Barkley on Twitter implied that fun was had by all, according to the Mail Online. James Haskell was said to have found a novel way to entertain guests - by snorting chocolate fondant pudding.
If rumours are to be believed, the couple were partying past 2am following their Saturday wedding in Edinburgh. Tindall was captured still sporting his morning suit well into Sunday, but it was back to the rugby t-shirts and shorts the next day as he returned to training.
The newly-weds have postponed their honeymoon so that Tindall could resume training with the England Team in preparation for its World Cup friendly against Wales at the weekend.
The gruelling session may just have been the hangover cure the England squad needed, with Johnson leading the men in a "rigorous" fitness test. Fortunately no one was ill during the session, but Chris Ashton admitted that "no-one ate breakfast."
